About Teacher David
Hello there! Welcome to my home on the internet!
(one of many!)
My name’s David, or Teacher David, or David Mansaray – whatever you prefer! I’m a qualified English teacher from the U.K. (London to be precise)
I’ve been helping English students and traveling around the world for the last 5 years! I’ve worked with doctors, lawyers, dentists, IT specialists, students, children, etc.
I have a lot of experience teaching in classrooms and companies, but as I’m often on the move, today I work with students online.
This is great because it means I can travel whenever I want while working with students from different parts of the world. Students can take classes from their homes, or offices, or wherever they can find an internet connection!
Most of my students today are busy professionals who want to work with a native English teacher like myself, but don’t have the time or energy to go to an English school. If you’d like to work with me, consider booking a trial lesson, and if you have any questions, send me a message.
But wait, there’s more… LOL
I’m not just an English teacher, but also a language lover! I speak Spanish and Italian and I’m currently working hard to improve my Portuguese!
I know what it’s like to learn a language myself, so the methods I use to teach English are grounded in theory but also practical experience (very important!)
I lived in Spain, Italy and Portugal; currently I’m in Brazil.
You might jump to the conclusion that I learn languages because I travel…
Actually, that’s not the case. I can’t deny that living in a country where the language I’m learning is spoken helps a lot, but have to stress that it’s not the only way to learn! I learned most of my Spanish in England and most of my Italian in Spain. Portuguese is the first foreign language I’m learning primarily while staying in country where the language is spoken.
It doesn’t matter where you live in the world, you can learn to speak English well, and I’d love to help you reach your goals with my knowledge and experience.
Next steps ?
